The album is the follow-up to the super-producer\u2019s multi-platinum 2007 album Timbaland Presents Shock Value, which spawned three No. 1 pop singles, the Grammy-nominated \u201cGive It To Me\u201d (featuring Nelly Furtado and Justin Timberlake), \u201cThe Way I Are,\u201d (featuring Keri Hilson and D.O.E.), and a remix of OneRepublic\u2019s multi-platinum blockbuster \u201cApologize\u201d (one of the best-selling singles of the decade).\r

On Shock Value II, Timbaland re-maps the pop/R&B landscape by batting away genre boundaries once again. His prodigious influence and ability to stay ahead of the curve have meant that a wide range of today\u2019s most popular artists are eager to participate in the Shock Value series. This second iteration features guest appearances from Justin Timberlake, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, The Fray, Chris Daughtry, Nickelback\u2019s Chad Kroeger, Brandy, Drake, and Keri Hilson. In addition, Timbaland asserts the wide-screen sonic adventurousness that has led the Virginia Beach native to dominate the pop charts for more than a decade.\r

Shock Value II\u2019s first single, \u201cMorning After Dark\u201d premiered on US station KIIS FM\u2019s \u201cOn-Air with Ryan Seacrest\u201d on October 16th and in the UK on Radio 1with Scott Mills. The single featuring Nelly Furtado and French singer-songwriter SoShy, a new artist on Timbaland\u2019s label Mosley Music Group is released in the UK on the 30th November with an amazing Chew Fu remix.\r
