Meanwhile, April ONeil (Megan Fox), a journalist covering the rise in criminal activity with the help of cameraman Vern Fenwick (Will Arnett), is shocked to find that the citys only hope is four mutated sewer-dwelling turtles and their ninja master Splinter (Danny Woodburn-voice of Tony Shalhoub). In Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows (2016), the turtles are forced back into action when Shredder (Brian Tee) returns and employs Techno Cosmic Research Institute scientist Dr. Stockman (Tyler Perry) to create some mutants of his own. Meanwhile, the evil Kraang (voice of Fred Armisen) has arrived from Dimension X to lead an invasion of the city, leaving the turtles facing a fight on two fronts to save New York from certain destruction.
