Description
Originally released as a mail order only release in 2015 Rubyworks are pleased to make Rodrigo y Gabrielas debut recordings available to a wider audience. Foc (the Catalan word for fire) was recorded in Dublin shortly after our Mexican heroes arrived in Ireland at the turn of the millennium and marks their official recording debut. A limited CD run was manufactured at the time for them to sell at gigs. Having decided that Dublin was the place for them they re-recorded some of the Foc tracks with Irish guest musicians and that album became Re-Foc first released in 2002. This release also includes a DVD of their first TV appearance when the duo were recorded for Other Voices in Dingle County Kerry back in December 2003. Handsomely presented in a hard back format this release is a great way to discover the early days of Rod Gab.
