\u2018Don\u2019t Forget\u2019, the debut release from the Californian 16-year-old singer/actress, will be released on April 20th through Hollywood/Fascination Records. The record has already shifted over 350,000 copies in the US, entering the Billboard album charts at #2 and iTunes pop chart at #1. \r

Produced by Jon Fields, Demi has teamed up with the Jonas Brothers to co-write and co-produce several of the tracks on the album. It was a natural collaboration, since Demi counts Nick, Joe and Kevin among her best friends. The Brothers\u2019 natural feel for hook-laden rock helped Demi deliver on her vision. \u201cIf I were to write the album by myself it would probably have been a little more serious,\u201d she notes. \u201cBut I didn\u2019t want that. I wanted a fun album.\u201d\r

Demi\u2019s debut album certainly delivers fun as well as full-out rockers like her first UK single \u2018La La Land\u2019 (which is released June 1st), a witty take on SoCal life and all its pretence. Other great rock tracks like \u2018Get Back\u2019, \u2018Gonna Get Caught\u2019 and \u2018Party\u2019 make a nice contrast to the sweeping ballads on the album such as \u2018Two Worlds\u2019 and \u2018Believe in Me\u2019. Demi\u2019s vulnerable side comes through on \u2018Until You\u2019re Mine\u2019 and the title track \u2018Don\u2019t Forget\u2019 a touching ballad about a faltering relationship. She explores similar territory on \u2018On the Line\u2019 an up-tempo duet she co-wrote and sings with the Jonas Brothers.\r

Having already opened for the Jonas Brothers on their sold-out \u2018Burnin Up\u2019 2008 tour - wowing critics and fans alike with her musical abilities on the piano and guitar, Demi will be back this June supporting the Brothers at their sold out Wembley Arena show.\r

Demi\u2019s television show \u2018Sonny With A Chance\u2019 also premieres on the Disney Channel in May/June in the UK. Plus she co-stars with Selena Gomez in the film \u2018Princess Protection Program\u2019 which is released in the US in June. \r
