The rich sweeping operatic production style from Jim Steinman worked perfectly with Bonnie Tyler’s powerful voice. Fans desperately wanted more and got what they wanted in the form of Secret Dreams & Forbidden Fire. The album had many hits with the album closer “Holding Out for a Hero” as the biggest hit. The song was originally used in Footloose and also got reappraised by a new generation thanks to its inclusion in Shrek 2.
