French composer and producer Arandel extends the dream that has haunted electronic music since its occult inception on his new album Cosmogonies du Silence, to be released 22nd January on InFiné.Haunted by spectral appearances of Baroque motifs, traversed by whispers and accidents, by the breaths of organs, strings and analogue machines, Cosmogonies du Silence also evokes the ghosts of the dance floor, exorcising themselves through creeping sub-bass and beats drawing from R&B, drill, chiptune, and lo-fi house.The album gathers around its séance table the presence of guest vocalists Ben Shemie (Suuns), Meryem Aboulouafa, Douglas Dare, and Félix Maritaud.
