The skill and knowledge of the performance practice of lutenist Paolo Cherici - already documented in the music by Vincenzo Capirola (TC 470301) - reveal to us in all its freshness this musical cross-section of the Italian renaissance through the sounds and timbres of the lute and the vihuela.
