The organist Marco Limone performs nine of his works on the Brondino Vegezzi-Bossi 2008 organ at the Church of the Holy Trinity in Centallo. rrVery few Italian musicians have contributed to the development of the organ repertoire as much as Arturo Sacchetti. Since studying at the Milan Conservatory, Sacchetti has given more than 2300 concerts as organist, harpsichordist, pianist, and choir and orchestra director, and recorded over 150 albums. Sacchetti is also however an important composer of organ music and has written many extraordinarily beautiful works over a period of 40 years, including the nine pieces featured on this disc. rrThe talented young organist Marco Limone comes from Turin in Italy.
