Over the past six years Wild Child has been quietly becoming a force to be reckoned with, bubbling just under the surface of the collective consciousness of the indie and mainstream music communities. The Austin, TX based outfit led by Kelsey Wilson & Alexander Beggins have been consistently touring the world and releasing records, each one better than the last, supported by an ever-growing base of loyal fans that any major label band would covet. \r

\r
When it came time to make their fourth LP they knew they wanted to do something different. They had grown tired of the traditional process of making an album, being locked in a studio with only one producer, only one voice. The collections of songs they had written were so varied in style and scope; pushing the musical boundaries of what defined their sound, that they knew one voice wasn't enough. They needed a chorus. \r

\r
They made of a list of their favorite musicians that were also producers in their own right \u2013 choosing those that would shine new light on specific compositions or ideas \u2013 and then traveled the world to collaborate with them. \r

\r
The journey took them from Troms\xf8, Norway where the Northern Lights are the brightest in the world, to work with Chris Walla (Death Cab For Cutie); to a rundown warehouse in the outskirts of Philadelphia where Scott McMicken (Dr. Dog) took on double duty of producer/bassist; and then to Kelsey's childhood home of Wimberley, TX where Matthew Logan Vasquez (Delta Spirit) set up a make shift recording studio. Also in the mix was Chris Boosahda of Shakey Graves, Atlantic Records artist and pop wunderkind Max Frost, and Grammy Award winning producer Adrian Quesada (Groupo Fantasma, Brown Sabbath, Spanish Gold). \r

\r
The result is a complex and dynamic record that is both cohesive and excitingly diverse, and also the bands finest work to date.
