Having performed at numerous festivals and staged major shows all over Asia, Dingwei broke new ground being the very first Chinese singer to appear at the Beijing International Jazz Festival and has been named the u2018Chinese Mainlandu2019s First Jazz singeru2019. She has also performed innovative shows at The Hong Kong New Vision Arts Festival and Macau International Music Festival and was invited by The Royal Family of Monaco to appear at the u201cBAL DE LA ROSE u2013 NUIT DE CHINEu201d in Monte Carlo. She subsequently went on to appear at the 2007 Olympic Games in Beijing, which was a career highlight. More recently, in 2016, Dingwei gave two sold out shows in Beijing and Shanghai to a combined audience of around 2,700, filling both venues to capacity and having to promise fans of more future shows in larger venues!
