Charlottesville, Virginia brothers Abe, James and Sam Wilson (aka, rock outfit Sons of Bill ) will release their superb new album Love and Logic, on September 30th via Thirty Tigers. In a time when pop culture mechanisms continue to dumb down the South, Sons of Bill find inspiration in the region's rich literary and cultural traditions. \r

With Grammy nominated producer and former Uncle Tupelo/Wilco drummer Ken Coomer at the helm, Sons of Bill has elevated their artistry to new heights by making an album that is as current as it is rooted in the foundations of early alt-country, long before the term Americana was coined.\r

The band gained national attention with the release of the Siren LP (their third) in 2012, and toured extensively in support of the release, which debuted on the Billboard top 200 and #12 on the Heatseekers chart. Since then they've toured extensively on both sides of the Atlantic, sharing the stage with artists ranging from My Morning Jacket to the Drive-By Truckers, and playing coveted slots at Bonaroo, ACL Fest, and SXSW.
