Produced by Peter Thisell and Per-Ola Eriksson, the album was recorded in Peter's home with some live sessions featuring his band, including Malin Naslund on bass and vocals, Beatrice Rosdahl on guitar and vocals, Wilmer Persson on drums, and Peter handling lead vocals, guitars, organ, and percussion.

Special contributions include Bjorn Kleinhenz on acoustic guitar for "Poncho," Ida Wenoe on vocals for "Human Animals," Joseph Jeppsson on pedal steel guitar for "Pig Meat," Karin Wiberg on violin for "Pray A Star Shines" and "(At Night) Morning Light," and Per-Ola Eriksson on guitar and piano/synths on several tracks.

Every song on "Visseltofta Folkfest" holds special significance for Peter, with tracks like "Poncho," "Visseltofta," and "Pig Meat" standing out as particularly resonant.
