Phil Lynott from Thin Lizzy was a big fan of the band and championed them in their early days.rrThe band issued several albums during the early to mid-'80s, including 1982's Plug It In, 1983's Turn It Up, 1984's self-titled release, this album from 1985 (which originally appeared on the Jive/BMG record label in the UK), and 1987's Growing Up The Hard Way, which brought the band some success in Europe.rrMama's Boys enjoyed US MTV success with a cover of Slade's 'Mama We're All Crazee Now'.rrPat and John went on to form the Folk Rock band Celtus, which is still going today. Tommy sadly passed away in 1994 after a long battle with leukaemia.rrDigitally remastered and slip-cased, and with new notes by Geoff Barton.
