This live album features a selection of Tony Allen's best live performances at Montreux Jazz Festival, Montreal Jazz Festival, and in Vancouver and Sao Paulo. It Includes songs from his albums 'Black Voices' and 'Homecooking'. The track 'Yeshe' has never been released before on CD and is a down tempo number dedicated for lovers! Also included is the classic Africa 7O tune 'No Accommodation' and a sublime jazzy Afrobeat tune titled 'Eparapo'.

Tony Allen has long been acknowledged as Africa's finest kit drummer and one of the continent's most influential musicians. Together with Fela Kuti (with whom he played for 15 years) he co-created Afrobeat - the hard driving, horns rich, funk-infused, politically insurrectionary style which became such a dominant force in African music and such an influence worldwide.
