Guitarist and producer Adam Hawley burst onto the smooth jazz scene as a celebrated and innovative artist, composer, and band leader. Handpicked by Maurice White, founder of Earth, Wind, & Fire, Hawley made his solo debut on White's legendary record label, Kalimba Music.

In all, Adam Hawley's four earlier albums, singles, and work as a producer have spawned an incredible 14 Billboard 1 hits, including his 2020 album Escape, which was the 1 smooth jazz album of the year, outselling every other smooth jazz album. The album's title single also went on to become the Billboard and Smooth Jazz Network's Song of the Year.

Coupling his recording successes with a robust touring schedule throughout the world with his own bands, plus numerous sessions as a sideman for Jennifer Lopez, Rick Braun, Natalie Cole, Michael McDonald, Lalah Hathaway, The Manhattan Transfer, and Brian McKnight, to name just a few. He was also the featured guitarist in the house band of American Idol.
