Almost three decades have already passed since it appeared and yet listening to it, the listener immediately understands why it is one of the most influential albums in the history of Gothic metal.

From the first moment whenRonny Thorsen's screams greet the listener, alternating withHelena Iren Michaelsen's enchanting voice on "When Silence Cries", to the last song "The Burden" with its haunting riff, quality remains at high levels.
