Following the successes of the PLANET EARTH, BLUE PLANET and FROZEN PLANET series of soundtrack releases, Silva Screen Records presents ASIA.

Sir David Attenborough is the guide to Asia, a seven-part series dedicated to our planet's greatest continent, revealing its most remarkable landscapes and animals.

Joining David Attenborough on this journey are composers JACOB SHEA and LAURENTIA EDITHA from the BLEEDING FINGERS MUSIC GROUP, the composer collective created by Hans Zimmer, Russell Emanuel and Steven Kofsky.

Filmed over the course of nearly four years, this is the first time that Asia has been the focus of a major BBC wildlife series. From the vast Gobi Desert to the jungles of Borneo, and from the polar wilderness of Siberia to the coral seas of the Indian Ocean, this series will showcase the breath-taking variety of Asia's wildest places.

Jacob Shea has worked alongside several of Hollywood's top composers, including Elliot Goldenthal, Steve Jablonsky, Henry Jackman and Hans Zimmer. His work as the Lead Composer at Bleeding Fingers Music has won him two BMI awards for Mountain Men and two BMI awards for Alaskan Bush People. He was one of the featured composers on PLANET EARTH II, BLUE PLANET II, SEVEN WORLDS ONE PLANET, and PLANET EARTH III

Laurentia Editha is an Indonesian composer for media based in Los Angeles, CA. She has been a staff member of Hans Zimmer's Bleeding Fingers Music since 2018. Under the collective she is known for her work in Apple TV's HOME, Netflix's Alien Worlds, National Geographic's Kingdom of The Mummies and additional music on Savage Kingdom: Season 4 (2020). Most recently, she worked on National Geographic's six-part series Growing Up Animal.
