Soundflat Records presents an absolutely stunning new single in a wintry Christmas outfit: The enchanting CRYSTAL FLAKE captivates with two catchy songs, 'Mr Mine' and 'I'm Gonna Be Warm This Winter'.

But who exactly is CRYSTAL FLAKE? In 2021, Tommy Greed, drummer of RAY COLLINS' HOT CLUB, released a solo project digitally under the name TOMMY GREED'S GUEST LIST, where he managed to involve several renowned colleagues from the broad R'n'R scene. As part of this project, Greed wrote 'Mr. Mine,' a 'first great love'-teenage-romance with strong musical ties to the SHANGRI-LAS. He enlisted Belgian singer Crystal Dawn (aka CRYSTAL FLAKE), a well-established figure in the R'n'R scene (CRYSTAL & RUNNIN' WILD, TUESDAY VIOLENCE), to perform the track. Alongside the CONNIE FRANCIS classic 'I'm Gonna Be Warm This Winter' as the B-side, a perfect Christmas 7' vinyl single was born: Two beautiful 60s rock 'n' roll songs in a pop-inspired sound, somewhere between the SHANGRI-LAS, PANDORAS, and BANGLES. What label could be better suited for this than SOUNDFLAT RECORDS!?
