In a truly extraordinary career, which has seen him active in eight different decades, Dion Dimucci not only still records and performs regularly, his albums continue to win industry awards. This compilation of his classic early sides, eleven of which were recorded with The Belmonts, is drawn from EPs issued variously in the US, the UK, Germany, France, Sweden, Spain, Australia and New Zealand, between 1958-62.
It includes the pick of his early hits, both with The Belmonts ('IWonder Why', 'No One Knows', 'Teenager In Love', 'Where Or When') and solo ('Lonely Teenager', 'Runaround Sue', 'The Wanderer', 'Lovers Who Wander', 'Little Diane').
lso featured are a selection of minor chart riders (e.g. 'Don't Pity Me'), a rare flop, a number of popular flips (e.g. 'The Majestic'), and a handful of killer albumtracks (e.g. 'Dream Lover').
