Out of This World' present the wonderful Sarah Vaughan backed by a jazz trio formed by Sir Roland Hanna on piano, Richard Davis on bass, and Percy Brice on drums. It was recorded in Los Angeles in early 1961 for a series of public service radio programs called 'The Navy Swings'.

Sarah and Roland Hanna had only recorded together once before this session, on a 1960 studio date for the Roulette label that took place in Los Angeles, and which also included Richard Davis and Percy Brice.

After the session presented here, Sarah and Hanna would just record together on one more occasion, the 1982 Pablo LP. Crazy and Mixed Up, produced by Norman Granz.
