Description
Unlock the secrets of centrifugal pump design with this comprehensive resource. The traditional empirical approach to designing centrifugal pumps has led to a multitude of design considerations, with the volute geometry playing a crucial role in determining the best efficiency point (BEP). However, the intricate relationship between geometry and performance has long been a topic of debate. This book delves into the specifics of how volute geometry impacts hydraulic losses and flow restriction, shedding light on the complex interactions at play. By understanding these dynamics, engineers and researchers can optimize pump design for improved efficiency and performance. A must-have for those seeking to push the boundaries of centrifugal pump technology.
