Featuring fourteen varying guest musicians on horns, electric and acoustic bass, electric guitar, synths, and drums, the production is a headed mix of jazz, fusion, urban, and chill-out grooves. The overall mood is consolatory and has a story telling quality that could have come straight out of a of movie soundtrack. Among the guest are Grammy Award Winning trumpeter Mike Rodriguez, Blue Note saxophonist James Carter, and Portishead and Get The Blessing bassist Jim Barr, among other notable players.
