A husky-voiced singer, Jane Fielding (1935-2000) only recorded two albums, her career ending after getting married and retiring from the music scene. 'Embers Glow', her second and last LP, finds Fielding (who was just twenty-one at the time) accompanied by pianist Kenny Drew and his quintet of all-star musicians, including saxophonist Joe Maini and bassist Paul Chambers.
