Texas Scratch; perhaps you've heard the term but don't know what it is. Texas scratch is a style of guitar picking (also known as the 'Carter Scratch') said to have originated by Mother Maybelle Carter back in 1927. Or perhaps you know the term as lottery tickets from Texas. Texas Scratch is also a band consisting of two hot guitar players and their friends from Texas who play foot tapping blues music in a big way. After all, if it's from Texas, it's BIG!

Texas Scratch is the Texas guitar of Jimmy Suhler (George Thorogood and the Destroyers), the Texas guitar of Buddy Whittington (John Mayallis Bluesbreakers), and the driving drum beat of Jeff Simon (George Thorogood and the Destroyers). After some live gigs, they gathered up in a studio to lay down some tracks. Add the help of Texas guitarist Vince Converse (Foghat & Savoy Brown), Brown drummer Roger Earl, bass from Nathaniel Peterson and producer Kirk Yano, mix it all up, and what you have is a batch of modern day guitar slinging blues tunes that you could never get enough of. Until now! So fire up the barbeque, heat up the chili, and wash it down with some of the most thirst quenching music this side of the Rio Grande. It's Texas Scratch!

- Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging – items that have been opened or had shrink wrap removed are not eligible for return or refund.
