At its heart is a set of cello duos by the Italian composer Tommaso Giordani (1730-1806). This was a starting point for the bass heavy sound world we have been exploring; expanding the rich sound of two cellos by adding the gritty warmth of double bass, percussion, and earthy Irish flute.rr
