From the early age of 5 she began to play the violin, and was admitted to an art and music school, where she picked up the piano and began her vocal training. While being classically trained, she was encouraged to pursue an improvisational style.rrDuring her adolescence she moved to the Ukraine and continued her education, and at a young age used her modeling career to move to Moscow, eventually finding her home in New York City, where she pursued her love of music.Through her career she has collaborated with many musicians, in both recording and in performance art. Her latest project was writing and composing music for the Academy Award and Golden Globe nominee, the Vincent Van Gogh biopic 'At Eternity's Gate'.
