Indeed, they have become amongst the most prized records within the 'hot' British dance band category.rrThe jazz-flavoured sound of these sessions owe much to saxophonist Arthur Lally, a fine musician and arranger, and the recordings on this CD are amongst the very best examples of his work. The group has a light, free-wheeling style, with plenty of opportunity for individual solos. Other featured musicians include Sylvester Ahola, Danny Polo, Ted Heath and Spike Hughes.
