He composed a number of important works, most inspirationally the cycle of Six Sonatas for Solo Violin, Op. 27 published in 1924, which rank among the greatest and most demanding. A different version of number 6 x96 an unfinished version x96 was found in the Lavergne Manuscript in 2017.
