rLuiz Carlos Fritz (Fritz Escovxe3o), Joxe3o Parahyba and Nereu Gargalo aka Trio Mocotxf3 are most well-known as Jorge Ben Jr.'s backing band. They played on several seminal Jorge Ben LP's u2013 his self-titled from 1969, Forxe7a Bruta in 1970 and Negro xc9 Lindo in 1971.r
rTrio Mocotxf3 were also key players in the development of the 'samba rock' sound u2013 a fusion of samba, soul and rock influenced by music from the USA.r
