Christmas was always my favourite time of year, and though my beliefs have changed over the years and I don't consider getting a Spiderman costume the pinnacle of my life anymore, I still look forward to it with the same excitement as I did when I was 5 years old. I love how people change at Christmas time - it's a time for thinking about others and for generosity of time and energy, and this is reflected in the rising of spirits and the desire to share time with friends and family.' rr
