On 12th April 2019, legendary electronic duo, The Chemical Brothers return with their ninth studio album \u2018No Geography\u2019, the follow up to their Grammy nominated 2015 release \u2018Born In The Echoes\u2019 , the band\u2019s 6th UK number 1 album.\r

The Chemical Brothers have sold over 12 million albums and 6 million singles worldwide and were the first electronic act ever to receive a GRAMMY and have since gone on to win four of the coveted awards.\r

The album follows major live announcements of a 2019 UK Arena tour and headline slots at Glastonbury, All Points East Festival, Creamfields and a sold out headline show at the Eden Project in Cornwall.\r

The album also follows a \u2018No Geography\u2019 album track \u2018We\u2019ve Got To Try\u2019 becoming the Sound Of The 2019 for Formula 1 being used across all of the promotion for the sport globally this year.\r

\u2022\tGot To Keep On \u2013 Directed by the Oscar winning Michel Gondry and his brother Olivier Gondry (Michel Gondry has directed seminal videos for Daft Punk, Bjork, The White Stripes, Beck, Stardust, Massive Attack, The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Kylie Minogue, Neneh Cherry, Radiohead and more. He also directed the outstanding Chemical Brothers videos for Go, Star Guitar and Let Forever Be.\r

At some point during the recording of No Geography, Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons pushed the reset button. It began with the construction of a studio within a studio - a tiny makeshift room that housed the kind of kit they\u2019d previously used to record the bulk of their first two albums; equipment that had sat gathering (freestyle) dust in Tom\u2019s attic for the last twenty years. That experimental space offered a freedom and the chance to create music and tell their own story in a way they hadn\u2019t done for years. \r
\r
Wherever possible, things were done differently. Randomness and jagged edges were encouraged and songs were built around vocal samples; voices were wound tightly into music that Tom and Ed found themselves following wherever it led them. Snatches of dialogue from the late \u201960s experimental Dial-A-Poem project were chosen that reflected the mood in the studio. Songs were road tested in front of audiences as part of the 2018 live set (which took in two shows at Alexandra Palace - the band\u2019s biggest UK headline shows to date) and honed in regular DJ sets the world over. \r

The resulting album is an extraordinary musical liberation; a record that stands alongside the duo\u2019s classic debut Exit Planet Dust and the rabbit-hole psychedelia of 2010\u2019s Further - the Chemical Brothers albums that respectively wrote the rules and then reimagined them entirely. Hurtling from righteous rage to wide-eyed wonder, from half-speed acid to jacking house and dreamy analogue noise, it\u2019s nothing less than a route map to the future. \r

No Geography features the previously released tracks Free Yourself and MAH (\u201ca short & bloody ride into our modern media psychosis\u201d The Guardian) and the current single Got To Keep On. Several of the tracks on No Geography feature vocals by Norwegian singer/songwriter Aurora who wrote and recorded parts in the band\u2019s studio in close collaboration with the band. Japanese rapper Nene features on Eve of Destruction. \r
