In The Lesson, Danny has found a potential new member of the gang, Trevor. Hes a short con artist and very good at what he does, but he targets the elderly and the poor as well as the greedy. Danny threatens to walk if the gang wont give Trevor a chance, so they reluctantly trust Dannys instincts. But is the gang finally going to end up being conned themselves? In Missions, the teams plan to con an auction house with a comic book forgery goes awry when corrupt copper Sam Phillips (Fay Ripley) decides she wants in on the play. In Old Acquaintance, when Stacie claps eyes on her estranged husband Jake (Max Beesley) who left her five years ago taking everything she owned with him, shes certain he is to be the gangs next mark. Having graduated from the short con world to the professional poker circuit hes good and he wont be an easy target.
