An up-and-coming gangster has a soft spot for his mom that only causes trouble for him in this high-velocity action picture from director Paco Cabezas. Ricky (Mario Casas) was only twelve years old when his mother Pura (Angela Molina) abandoned him and took up a career as a prostitute. Despite this, Ricky remains devoted to her, and while she's serving a long stretch in prison, he's determined to give her a better life when she gets out. Ricky wants to open a high class brothel and have Pura run it, and he's struggling to raise the money selling whatever he can with the help of experienced pimp Angelito (Vicente Romero), his drug-addicted lover Scrag (Macarena Gomez), their muscle-man sidekick The Kid (Luciano Caceres) and delusional cross dresser Princess (Damaso Conde. Ricky is able to open the brothel and recruits some top class hookers for the staff, but when Pura is released from prison, she doesn't recognize her son, isn't interested in running the brothel and reveals she's suffering from early onset Alzheimer's. To make matters worse, ill-tempered gangster El Chino (Dario Grandinetti) is out to get Ricky for opening his new business too close to his operations, and Ricky must find a way to pay off some loan sharks who financed the brothel, turning his already chaotic life upside down.
