Taylor Swift returns with her twelfth studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, arriving on 3 October via Republic Records.
Recorded partly while on tour and co-produced with Max Martin and Shellback, the album signals a theatrical, high-glamour era shift.

Why October’s Slate Stands Out
- Star power meets reinvention – Swift anchors the month, but artists like Calum Scott and The Last Dinner Party bring thoughtful deviations from their past work.
- Genre diversity – We get pop, art rock, introspective singer-songwriting, and more.
- Momentum for indie & cult acts – October is shaping up to be fertile territory for breakout or under-the-radar albums that could find bigger audiences.
