Later With Jools Holland Returns and It’s Set to Be a Classic

If you’re a live-music lover, few TV shows do it better than Later… with Jools Holland. This venerable BBC Two programme (now running in short series since 1992) features an eclectic mix of established artists and emerging talents performing together, often in a spontaneous jam format.

For 2025, Later… with Jools Holland shifts to Sunday nights at 10pm (BBC Two / BBC iPlayer) for Series 67.

The previous Series 66 ran in May–June and included performances from names like Franz Ferdinand, Pulp, Sugababes, Wet Leg and more.

🎤 Who’s Performing in the New Series?

Series 67 kicks off with an artist roster that's already generating buzz:

• Robert Plant returns to the Later stage, performing with a new collective “Saving Grace” and in conversation with Jools.
• Olivia Dean appears too, including a duet with Jools on a Carole King tribute. 
• James Yorkston & Nina Persson join forces for a collaborative performance. 
• Also featured: Joshua Idehen, a rising British-Nigerian spoken word artist and musician.

As the series unfolds, upcoming episodes (e.g. 12 October) are set to include names like The Last Dinner Party, The Charlatans, Celeste, Princess Nokia, and more.
