The original release in 1977 was compiled from 3 nights in Glasgow between the 27th and 29th October 1976 and recorded using the Rolling Stones Mobile Studio.Available for the first time on vinyl, this version of ‘Live In Glasgow’, recorded at the Apollo in 1976, features the complete recording of the third and final of those three nights (29th October) in its entirety. Strictly limited it comes with newly adapted cover art and presented on 2LP Nightshade Purple vinyl.The audio was mixed and mastered from newly-discovered multi track recordings (one was in a box marked Peters and Lee!) by Andy Gamble at AVP Productions from the original ¼ master tapes and approved by Francis Rossi.Live! is regarded as one of the classic Live albums from the seventies and one of Quo’s most memorable live sets.
