Several years later, Hiromi signed to Telarc label and made a major recording debut. Chick was continuously keeping an eye on her career, and ten years from their first collaboration on the stage, they had a chance to share the stage of Tokyo Jazz Festival 2006. Their performances were highly acclaimed by audience and critics. And a year later, September 2007, Blue Note Tokyo opened three- day special concerts starring Chick and Hiromi, under the strong request from Chick Corea. Tickets were all sold out in a day, house fully packed with enthusiastic audiences, and great performances each night. From the opening tune, their breathtaking interaction sparkled.
