They are based on the Quinto tr\\xedptico vertical by the Argentine poet Roberto Juarroz (1925\\u20131995), whose work is still relatively unknown in Europe.  The premiere of 'h\\xe4ngende g\\xe4rten' (hanging gardens) for large orchestra followed in Berlin in the summer of 2017. The title refers to one of the Seven Wonders of the World: the legendary Hanging Gardens of Babylon of Assyrian Queen Semiramis.
