They were discovered by RCA Records whilst playing the local clubs in the tri-state area of New Jersey, New York and Connecticut, the same scene that gave the world Twisted Sister.   \\u2022Between October 1977 and March 1980, Fandango released four solid albums through RCA; \\u201cFandango\\u201d, \\u201cLast Kiss\\u201d, \\u201cOne Night Stand\\u201d and \\u201cCadillac\\u201d. According to Joe Lynn Turner\\u2019s official biography, Fandango were, \\u201ca band described as an eclectic mix of R\u0026amp;B, pop, country, jazz and melodic rock\\u201d.   \\u2022Despite some high profile slots opening for, among others, The Allman Brothers, The Marshall Tucker Band, The Beach Boys and Billy Joel, Fandango missed making a significant mark on the US charts.
