This conceptually open, demanding and exacting presentation of piano works – not comprehensible in their respective conceptions and so widely differing in their respective aesthetics and styles – is, at the same time, a musically varied, richly contrasted, heterogeneous and sensual journey into the piano music of modernism. Consequently, the works presented here can only serve to illustrate a cross-section of modernism, as reflected in the individual creative processes of the composers.'\\r
\\r
Born in 1972 in Salonica (Greece) Andreas Skouras studied piano with Prof. Franz Massinger and harpsichord with Prof. Lars Ulrik Mortensen and Prof. Ketil Haugsand at the Hochschule f\\xfcr Musik und Theater M\\xfcnchen.\\r
\\r
Concert appearances, CD, radio and television productions as pianist and harpsichordist with orchestra or solo, in chamber music and Lied recitals regularly lead him throughout Europe and to festivals like 'Early Music' in London, Festival Aix-en-Provence, Gidon Kremer's 'Lockenhaus', 'les mus\\xe9iques' in Basel, 'Sacrum Profanum' in Krakow, Bluval Festival, Summer Concerts between Danube and Altmuhl, MDR Music Summer as well as to the United States, where among others he has performed in the New York's Carnegie Recital Hall.
Claude Debussy (1862–1918) - Pr\\xe9lude N\\xb0 1 “Brouillards” From Pr\\xe9ludes, Deuxi\\xe8me Livre

Olivier Messiaen (1908–1992) - Mode De Valeurs Et D’intensit\\xe9s From Quatre Etudes De Rythme

Karlheiz Stockhausen (1928–2007)- Klavierst\\xfcck V (1954)

Pascal Dusapin (*1955) - \\xc9tude N\\xb0 6 From 7 \\xc9tudes Pour Piano (1999‚0132001)

Giacinto Scelsi (1905‚0131988)- Quattro Illustrazioni (1953)

Toru Takemitsu (1930‚0131996): Litany (1950/1989- I.
