Ranging from ballads through to hard-bop grooves, the compositions are fresh and yet seemingly familiar, sparking interest and attention from the very first bar!  \\r\u003cbr\u003e\\r\u003cbr\u003eVince Benedetti is probably best known for discovering Diana Krall who joined his quintet and toured parts of Europe during 1989 and the 1990 album they made together titled, Heart Drops (TCB22182) with bassist Reggie Johnson and drummer Alvin Queen. A track from that album featuring Krall on vocals is included as a bonus to this new recording.\\r\u003cbr\u003e\\r\u003cbr\u003eAmerican born, but living in Switzerland since 1964, Benedetti has been leading his own groups, from trio through to big band, for over four decades.
