Phil Lynott from Thin Lizzy was a big fan of the band and championed them in their early days.\\r\u003cbr\u003e\\r\u003cbr\u003eThe band issued several albums during the early to mid-'80s, including 1982's Plug It In, 1983's Turn It Up, 1984's self-titled release, this album from 1985 (which originally appeared on the Jive\/BMG record label in the UK), and 1987's Growing Up The Hard Way, which brought the band some success in Europe.\\r\u003cbr\u003e\\r\u003cbr\u003eMama's Boys enjoyed US MTV success with a cover of Slade's 'Mama We're All Crazee Now'.\\r\u003cbr\u003e\\r\u003cbr\u003ePat and John went on to form the Folk Rock band Celtus, which is still going today.
