COVID was over which meant I could go into drummer Jon Weiss's studio to get the drums tracks down live (something you couldn't do in 2020\/2021). I'd wanted to expand a bit and explore the more electric side of my music so armed with my green Strat and the top-notch drum tracks the LP was born. Lyrically I love incorporating what I've been reading into the music for anyone who enjoys wordplay you'll find plenty to dig into (yes, that is a phrase from Philip Larkin in the song \"99 to 111\" and a Lou Reed quote in \"Is This Where It's At\").
