She began to play the piano at the age of seven and discovered her passion for jazz music after years of classical training. As she devoted herself fully to the music, she finally studied jazz piano at University of Music Carl Maria von Weber Dresden in 2009.\\r\u003cbr\u003eBefore signing with \u003cstrong\u003eMPS\u003c\/strong\u003e, she had already released two albums at Blue Note \/ Universal Germany: '\u003cstrong\u003eIm Vertrauen\u003c\/strong\u003e' (2014) and '\u003cstrong\u003eUber und Unter\u003c\/strong\u003e' (2016). In September 2019 \u003cstrong\u003eJulia\u003c\/strong\u003e and her trio released her \u003cstrong\u003eMPS\u003c\/strong\u003e debut '\u003cstrong\u003eKaskaden\u003c\/strong\u003e', which was recorded on analogue tape in the legendary MPS studio. This made the trio the first MPS act after 35 years recording again in the historic studios, even the notorious German magazine \u003cstrong\u003eDer Spiegel\u003c\/strong\u003e reported about it.\\r\u003cbr\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eJulia Kadel\u003c\/strong\u003e has received several awards and grants during her career and played international festivals and concerts in countries such as Norway, England, France, Italy, Austria, Hungary, Czech Republic, Russia, Lithuania and Turkey.
