The series featured a host of Broadway star performers, many of whom introduced their songs in the original stage productions. RCA Victor also enlisted Broadway's finest musical directors to conduct the orchestra and chorus on the recordings.\\r\u003cbr\u003e\\r\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe second Volume in the series includes selections from 'Mademoiselle Modiste', 'Naughty Marietta', 'Shuffle Along' (conducted by composer Eubie Blake), 'Blackbirds of 1928' and 'The Band Wagon'.
