Vig was one of Europe's most adventurous and wild players - deep-seated in the older part of the jazz tradition, but hard to categorise as he dug both trad, swing, R\u0026amp;B, soul, rock, and fusion as well as the Scandinavian sound. \\r\u003cbr\u003e\\r\u003cbr\u003e\u003cp\u003eSteen was one of those musicians you wanted to hear on stage for the full experience. But this recording is a fine substitute.
